This report provides an update to Telecommunications Management Group's (TMG) highly acclaimed Primer on Mobile Termination Rates, which is the premier source of mobile termination rate (MTR) information around the world. The report is an indispensable resource of benchmark MTRs essential for regulators, operators, policy makers, researchers and others. Like all TMG reports, Mobile Termination Rate Update 2010 is based on official primary source data from government authorities and operators. Mobile Termination Rate Update 2010 provides the latest wholesale mobile interconnection prices (including identifying countries where MTRs are not used) for 140 countries.

In addition to the latest rates (shown in national currency, US$ and Purchasing Power Parity), the report indicates if the MTR is regulated or not. It also includes the MTRs for the last five years for 35 major economies. The report provides regional benchmarks and highlights the link between MTRs and minutes of use, and includes core mobile market information for 40 economies (35 where MTRs are used and 5 where they are not). The report also contains supporting information showing the exchange rates used and the source of the data.
